Nawww I'm kidding!

Remember being a kid, just hanging out with your friends for no reason? Or chilling in the dorm lounge at uni, talking to whoever wandered in? Let's do that again. Welcome to my porch!

Social life in the suburbs can be tough to find especially for young adults, and every meetup feels like friends for 2 hours and then... back to the same void. Isolation and depression are unfortunately on the rise for people in our generation and I'd like to change that!

Here is my vision -
-> What if we just had a place where you could always drop by whenever, hangout, and meet new and familiar faces in a warm, supportive environment?
-> What if this place sometimes had events (like authentic relating circles, FIFA nights, movie nights, board game nights, mindfulness/spirituality sessions, etc), but sometimes just worked as a casual hangout/coworking space?
-> What if, through this common third space, we can form a tight-knit, warm community of young people living in the Bay?

This is my attempt at creating that vibe.

Over the next couple months, I will be booking community rooms and hangout spots, where we will be sitting on sofas and picnic blankets and I'll bring with me a bunch of movies, card games, and a few other activities. You can participate in those, or literally just bring a book or your laptop and cowork/hangout. No pressure to force any conversations, just an easy vibe overall. Feel free to bring activities you like as well!

We'll have ~4 hours to test out my idea, and we can also order some food and share dinner! It's going to be a vibe!
