Hey East Bay NVCers,

We will host a NVC event for one day, Sunday Sept 21, from 955am to 330 pm in El Sobrante.

We invite you to join us for 2 sessions of NVC.

Sunday Sept 21
9:45 am Arrival
9:55 am Session 1 - Foundations of NVC
- What is NVC?
- What is not Empathy
- What are Human Needs?
- What is the difference between
-- Observations and Judgments
-- Feeling and Thinking
-- Needs and Strategies
-- Requests and Demands

- If time, Practicing Empathy with Empathy Poker

12:00 pm Lunch
- Please bring something for yourself and something to share
- We will provide a light lunch

1:15pm-3:15pm
- Saying "No" - No is the Start of Connection

What to bring
For yourself
- Pens and Paper
- Something to sit on the floor inside (We will have some)
A hat and/or outdoor chair or blanket to sit outside. We will have some outside activitets (We will have some chairs)
- Snacks - For yourself and to share if you want

The request will be for a fee of $25-$75 to cover our expenses.
