# The 2025 Studio 8 Film Festival

This open call is for alumni, as well as former faculty and staff of the San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI).

Thank you for your interest in submitting your work to the 2025 Studio 8 Film Festival, a celebration of bold, original, and experimental filmmaking connected to the legacy of the San Francisco Art Institute. We welcome submissions in animation and lyrical/poetic forms in honor of Lawrence Jordan and Gunvor Nelson.

Jurors: Christopher Coppola, Deborah Fort, Toney W. Merritt

Deadline: July 28, 2025 at 11:59pm PDT

You may upload a poster and up to three still images to accompany your submission. Selected works will be considered for public screening as part of the upcoming Studio 8 Festival program.
