**Hello Single Mom's & Dad's who have 80-100% custody** of their child or children who are not in elementary school yet! This group I've named **The Unconditional Parents Squad will be for babies born in 2019 to 2024**

I would like to get you parents together for mutual support and playdates for your unique needs and ages of children in the hopes you and your children can form close bonds with each other as they grow up and you raise your children.

I took 100٪ custody of my daughter when she was 9 months old. She is now 10 years old. So I understand many of the internal, family, court and societal pressures that a parent faces when everything is on you. It is hard I won't sugar coat it. I wish I had more support in the younger years but I didn't and it was a struggle few other parents I hung out with understood who had a spouse to help or a break with a 50/50٪ custody arrangement. One of the biggest guilt trips I felt was how could i be enough. Surely she was missing a father figure. But pyschologists say a child really only needs 1 strong loving parental figure unlike what we were taught growing up. We survived and my daughter flourishes. And so will your children. **You are enough**!

We will meet for dinner, introductions of ourselves and children and talk about what kinds of things you would like to do.

As my child is 10 years old this is more of a service project to me. I am happy to help lead the group and at some point as you all are comfortable with each other I figure others will step up into leadership roles and assist or take over. But no rush, I remember the business of this time of taking care of babies and finding activities and playdates for my little one while juggling some of the harsh realities of my situation trying to keep it all together trying to prove to myself and others I could really do it on my own.

I understand there is some interest for the age group to be opened up for older kids as well. I think the needs are a bit different in some respect. I'm trying to focus on the new parents that I feel need the most help now. I hope there will be other opportunities to connect with other parents in the group who have older children at other events. So I apologize ahead of time but I don’t have the bandwidth to accommodate everyone.
