We're extending our recent "distributed architectures" meeting subject matter again this month with a discussion of YugaByte's distributed DB. As for the past couple of meetings, this will again be a hybrid affair, and YugaByte has graciously agreed to host us on their campus. Here are the details as they currently stand; we'll update this as things flesh out, as well as email updates to attendees.

Abstract:
Join us as we delve deep into YugaByteDB's architecture and internals. Discover how this distributed SQL database achieves high availability, fault tolerance, and global scalability. We'll explore the core components and design principles that make YugaByteDB a robust choice for modern data-driven applications.
