⛸️ Ice Skating w/free rental @Oakland

Our monthly skating nights has gained the attention of Oakland Ice Center! They’ll offer us free rental skates now as long as we let them know early!

❄️ Agenda: ❄️

7:00 PM sharp: Meet inside the main entrance by the ticket counter. I'll post my outfit in the comments on the day of.
7:10 PM – 7:15 PM: We hit the ice! The group will spread out around the rink, plus DJ lights make it hard to see so try not to run late.
8:00 PM: Regroup for photos.
8:45 PM – 9:00 PM: Wrap up the session.

🎟️ Tickets: you still need to purchase your $17 admission ticket at the counter when you arrive. I’ll do a tally of our attendance the day before and let the rink know for free skate rental. This is the first time I’m using the perk so there’s a slight possibility it doesn’t work out. If not, regular skate rental is $8 (or bring your own skates).

🪅 Post skating social: our event is technically happening at the same time as Oakland First Friday, but by the time we wrap up, the official festival part should be done as well. We can still roam around for a bit after, see if we feel like any snacks. Exact plan TBD.
