Hike Land's End and Visit The Legion of Honor Museum (Free Day)

The weather is at its best from months ago! So let's enjoy San Francisco by visiting one of the most famous museums in the Bay Area and the most popular 3.4 mile loop in the city overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge, Marin, and China Beach!

THE ITINERARY

LEGION OF HONOR
Meet: 100 34th Ave, San Francisco, CA 94121
At or near the entrance.
Meet Time: 10am
Parking is free if you arrive on or before the museum's opening hours.
The reason we visit the museum first is to beat the crowds.
Reserve your Free tickets here to the museum:
You have to be a resident from all qualifying SF Bay Area counties.
Museum Hours 9:30am - 5:15pm
Ticket does not include access to special exhibitions
Present your ticket or mobile ticket to gallery entrance
Please bring your photo I.D.
We will spend about 1 hour at the museum. Feel free to wander on your own.

LAND'S END
Trail Info
Meet at the steps of the Legion of Honor at the front.
Meeting time: 11am
Difficulty: easy and scenic
We will enter in the Legion of Honor's trail on El Camino del Mar and head to the front where we will end at the Land's End Gift Shop.
Optional: You are welcome to continue wandering down to Ocean Beach or take a breath at the Sutro baths or return journey back to the Legion of Honor.

Note: if the group all agree, we can take some detours to China Beach for a brief visit as well as visit near the Sutro Baths at Land's End.
Please be sure to bring plenty of water, hats, sunglasses, and sunblock. It may or may not be sunny but you will be outdoors.
