A "Mompreneur" is defined as " a female business owner who is actively balancing the role of mom and the role of entrepreneur."
In this group, we welcome mompreneurs in various stages of their businesses (from aspiring seeds to established leaders, working in or outside of the home) from all over BC (Vancouver, North Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby, New Westminster, Tri-Cities, Ridge Meadows, Surrey, Langley, Mission to Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Vancouver Island and the BC Interior), to join this network and connect with other like-minded business women entrepreneurs and moms with ease -- and it's FREE to join!
Connect and meet with moms in your area to share stories, challenges, tips, support and friendship over coffee, a meal, or even a gathering at the park, with or without kids. We as mompreneurs get it -- especially when you have children in your care, you can't always make all the networking events out there so you need flexibility. You are in the company of many of us! If there is an upcoming meeting you'd like to attend but are unable to, let the organizer know and we'll try to work out a date so that you can attend. If you'd like to see more meetings happening in your area and there isn't a Regional Leader for it, consider being a part of our team and becoming one!
If you have an event you'd like to share with our network, please contact the organizer to discuss your options. I receive emails regarding events almost every day so please understand that they are subject to review and your patience for a response is appreciated. The main goal for the BC BUSINESS MOMS NETWORK is for mompreneurs to find one another and build relationships. Unsolicited spam made directly to our members and/or within our online meetups are prohibited. Members are welcome to introduce themselves by visiting our Message Board titled "ADD YOUR LISTING HERE".
