Details
About the Hike:
We start from the grouse Mountain parking lot and climb BC MC for 3 km gaining 853 m.
Then we meet at the lodge for a coffee and waiting for the individuals who would like to join us by taking gondola up. From the large then be continuing experiencing this 6.0-km out-and-back trail near North Vancouver, British Columbia. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h (BCMC) and another 2 hours to go and return from Thunderbird Ridge. This is a popular trail for hiking and running, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The best times to visit this trail are July through October. You'll need to leave pups at home — dogs aren't allowed on this trail.

Thunderbird Ridge is a picturesque hike which offers outstanding 360-degree views of the surrounding mountain ranges. The scrambling parts are rough and need experienced hikers. This route has a variety of terrain ranging from smooth walking paths, rougher hiking trails, and a rolling unshaded stretch out to the final lookout point. There are some ankles twisting rocks, so make sure you have good hiking boots.

Please note, after the hike we will be taking Skyride Gondola down. Skyride gondola ticket will be required to come down, or Two Way ride if you are meeting us at the Grouse Mountain outside the Peak Chalet.
