Axis returns, this time at Real Eyes Meditation Center, to dance the up spine from root to crown. We will open a sacred space for musicians and dancers to find their fullest self-expression through improvisation as we thematically harmonize our seven major energy centers with their associated key signatures.
Gabriel Pickus combines his skillset as a Healing Touch (Energy Medicine) Practitioner and soft-style martial arts instructor with his gifts as a group facilitator and holistic educator to conduct or "DJ" the live musicians and dancers. The chakra-themed arc of this experience provides a structure of freedom for us all to play in. Here's a preview:
The root chakra dance in the key of G will guide us into grounding stability with the element Earth.
The sacral chakra dance in the key of A will guide us to feel the flow and open our hips with the element of Water.
The solar plexus chakra dance in the key of B will guide us to access our power and strength with the element of Fire.
The heart chakra dance in the key of C will guide us to integrate our love of self and others with the element Air.
The throat chakra dance in the key of D will guide us to fully express our uniqueness and creativity with the element of Sound.
The third eye chakra dance in the key of E will guide us to attune to our higher selves individually and collectively with the element of Light.
The crown chakra dance in the key of F will guide us to connect with Spirit and with the planet as a whole, connecting our central axis through the center of the Earth with the element of Grace.
Space is limited so a RSVP is required. Please carpool if possible as parking is limited.
FIRST TIMERS: No prior experience necessary. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early so you can get situated. You are also welcome to walk our grounds or check out or crystal shop.
IMPORTANT DIRECTIONS: The address is 15406 Riding Stable rd. Property is at end of 1/2 mile driveway into the woods. you will drive over a small stream. Please be EXTRA MINDFUL to drive slowly (under 10 MPH) as to not stir any driveway dust. It is a shared driveway so it's important to respect our neighbors. Please do not stop to interact with horses.
COST: $20-50. We offer a range to help make this experience affordable. If your budget doesn't allow, come anyway, put in what you can and then help us set up/break down.
