Pickleball Wednesday Evenings - Peck Park - San Pedro Style!

Wildly popular Pickleball is played with doubles, is socially friendly, & inexpensive. The size of the court (about 1/3 the size of a tennis court) & use of a hard whiffle ball (less bounce) & short handle paddle make the game physically manageable & fun to play! Heavy winds or rain cancels.

Our players are quickly becoming intermediate level so you will be expected to know the basics & be warmed up before playing.

Please arrive early & warm up on the wooden backboard to get comfortable connecting your paddle to the wiffle ball. You should be able to consistently return the ball to the backboard before entering a game. This game moves fast, so focus, agility, accuracy & speed matter!

Please familiarize yourself with the basics of the game before playing with us.

What to bring: In cold weather dress in layers. Bring water, sunscreen, hat, smooth bottom COURT shoes, pickleball paddle, spirit of fun!

Beach Cities Active will host Pickleball games on the following days:

• 1st & 3rd Wednesday mornings 8:30-10:30 am
• Monday evenings 5 - 7 pm
• Wednesday evenings 5 - 7 pm
