About us
# Beacon Seekers: Lighthouse Tours and Coffee
Welcome to Beacon Seekers, a group for anyone curious about lighthouses and the stories behind them. We organize regular tours to local lighthouses where we explore the history, architecture, and maritime significance of these remarkable structures. Whether you're a casual history enthusiast or someone who's always been fascinated by lighthouses, you'll find something interesting here. We keep things relaxed and informal—these are explorations, not lectures.
Most of our outings include a coffee stop before or after the tour, which gives us a chance to chat, share photos, and swap lighthouse facts. We meet up several times a month depending on the season and what lighthouses are accessible. Some tours are short and easy, while others involve more walking or climbing, so we try to offer variety. No special experience needed, just show up with comfortable shoes and an open mind.
If you've ever wondered why lighthouses are positioned where they are, how they've evolved over time, or just enjoy being near the coast, come join us. We're a welcoming group of lighthouse fans building community around something we genuinely enjoy.
