About us
This group is specifically designed for women in their 30’s and 40’s who are hoping to make new friends. If you’re like me, you might find that this has become much more difficult the older you’ve become. Which is why I’ve created this group. My hope is that we can create friendships that will form a true community.
The group is based in Beaverton but events will be in Portland and surrounding neighborhoods as well. Events will vary from grabbing coffee to hikes (once the weather is nicer) to maybe going to a museum. I am very open to ideas on events so please feel free to shoot me a message!
I will be pretty strict about no-shows. This has been a problem in all of the Meetup groups I’ve been a part of in the past and I think it’s unnecessary. I will allow 3 no-shows but then I will remove you from the group. I feel it is disrespectful to the others to make everyone wait for someone who wasn’t planning to show up. So please, if something comes up and your plans change - just RSVP “no” or send me a message. It’s totally understandable, even last minute changes are quite okay. Just don’t no-show, that is all I ask. :)
