Mythology Club Talks - Yoruba Mythology

Let's take a dive into African mythology by exploring the Yoruba mythological tradition! We'll learn about Olorun, the Orishas and the creation myth which characterize this slice of west African religion. We'll be starting with the Yoruba Trikster Tales by Oyekan Owomoyela (available on Google Books) but we'll see where it goes from there.

As a reminder, this club is for non-experts to get acquainted with original source material of mythologies across the world, allowing us all to learn together. Think of it as a casual study group where the homework is optional!
