BeCAUSE Community is dedicated to addressing the critical issues of loneliness and social isolation, while fostering a profound sense of personal well-being. Our aim is to cultivate robust individuals who are integral to the fabric of our community.
Our organization is anchored by a series of Community Connection Events, with our current spotlight being on the 'Free Flowers and Hugs' initiative. This program mobilizes a cadre of dedicated volunteers, who convene in public spaces to distribute complimentary flowers and embraces, all with the objective of engendering palpable positive impacts for the recipients, our volunteers, and the bystanders. Our empirical research substantiates that our volunteers experience significant benefits, notably in the realms of diminished feelings of loneliness and social isolation, alongside enhancements in their overall well-being. It is our strategic goal to leverage these findings to amplify our efforts in fulfilling our mission.
We extend an invitation to individuals who may be grappling with feelings of loneliness, or those who are motivated to counteract social isolation within their community by fostering connections and disseminating love. We encourage you to become a part of our meetup group and to participate in our local events. Please note that event participation may be subject to fees.
