Join us as we attend the Great Lakes Brewpub's 52nd trivia night this coming Wednesday called Are you Smarter than A Scottish Guy. We cannot break our streak of fielding a team at every one of his GLB trivia nights - hell we have been to more trivia nights than Simon himself. Last week even with a score of 50/59 we got shut out of the top three. Let's have some revenge. Some regulars will be going to see the Leafs play the Canadiens so this is an opportunity for some new opportunity for new players to come and enjoy this trivia. Or feel free to watch hockey - up to you.
The trivia starts at 7:00pm but it is better if you arrive at 600pm - 6:30 pm or as soon after as you can; they do not take reservations and frown upon one person saving a table for 8. We have enjoyed past in-person trivia events but the locations either did not have good beer, good food, or good service; GLB Brewpub has all three. We have been at every trivia night so far.
Prizes include a $50 gift card for 1st place, an 8 pack for 2nd place, and a 4 pack for 3rd place.
There is also a small prize for best team name, so put on your creative hat. The host seems to like puns and prefers short team names. However he only gave us the best name prize twice as he thinks we win too much. However, that has not stopped us from coming up with some great names that he will have to give us the prize again soon.
Trivia players can also get pours of Great Lakes Lager for $5 (sometimes other beers as well depending if they are wanting to empty a keg). Their Detroit-style pizza is discounted to $15; they range up to $26 regularly. They have added some new pizza varieties and keep changing their menu - chicken wings are back.
Held at GLB Brewpub. It is very centrally located and easy to get by transit.

As the first year is coming to a close and with the return of trivia at our OG place C'est What, we will be switching it up and posting trivia there once a month on the last Wednsday of every month.
