TOPHAT's The Duke, Textile Museum, Spirit Garden and Skating at City Hall

Join Lawrence, your top hatted host, for an afternoon of indoor and outdoor activities.

We will gather at the Duke of Cornwall Pub on University for a pint and a light meal.

Then we will walk towards City Hall and our next destination, Spirit Garden.

The Spirit Garden revolves around the turtle sculpture and incorporates elements that represent First Nations, Inuit and Métis cultures, including a teaching lodge, amphitheatre, a Three Sisters teaching garden, Two Row Wampum (Kuswenta), Tree of Peace, a water feature, a Métis canoe and an Inuksuk.

Then it's time to hit the ice, so to speak. We will take a few laps around the rink as we listen to music and take in the beauty of our city.

Not being a skater, I will be nursing a hot chocolate and enjoying the action from the side lines.
