TOPHATs RMCI, The Duke, Fighting 48th, and Salute to Terry Fox.
Details
Join Lawrence, your top hatted host, for a Salute to our Canadian Heroes.
We will meet-up inside the entrance of the Royal Canadian Military Institute, where their story begins.
At 11:30 am SHARP! We will take the lift upstairs to their library on the 5th floor.
You are welcome to take photos, though no flash.
Then we will head to the 4th floor, to see the opulent 426 Grill restaurant and Sir William Otter room.
Afterwards, we descend to my favourite floor, to see the Long Bar, where the seat of the infamous Red Baron, resides. Followed by the Sword and Pistol room, which I am always awestruck by.
Down a few more stairs and we will see the Medals room, with a Victoria Cross featured.

At 12:15 pm, we will head over to the Duke of Cornwall for quick lunch and a pint.
At 1:15 pm, we will head south on University Avenue, to St. Andrews Church on King Street, to see the 48th Highlanders museum.
Your visit to this military museum in downtown Toronto will immerse you in our traditions and proud history:
from Victorian Toronto in 1891 when the Regiment was formed to the present day.

This museum closes at 2 pm, so our visit will be short.
Our last stop is in Metro Hall to see the Terry Fox memorial.
We will pass by the Gillie and Marc sculpture, where we will take a selfie.
That concludes our tour.
Nearby there is
Canada Walk of Fame, where you can find more Canadian Heroes
