Armadale Walk & Talk

Come along to a relaxed social walk/hike in the Armadale area and surrounds, on most Monday afternoons - all welcome!

WHERE: We will walk up to an awesome lookout over Armadale, plus a short but pretty creek trail beneath massive gum trees. Meet here, on Ophelia Grove, Mt Nasura (street parking): https://maps.app.goo.gl/p6FpUurEguhcPN5e6

This walk will be in the bush, on a mix of paved and gravel trails. It will be about 2.5km long though has an elevation increase of 90m (the view is worth it!). There are a couple of short steep sections (mostly paved). Wear suitable footwear for walking on gravel trails.

TIMING: Please arrive early. We will begin the walk at 4pm on the dot.

DURATION: 1-1.5 hours, depending on walking pace, though we will be aiming for a relaxed pace.

WHAT TO BRING: comfortable walking footwear (suitable for gravel trails), water, sun/rain protection, suitable clothing for the weather, and a smile! :) Bring walking poles if you have them.

IF WEATHER IS BAD: We will go ahead if there's rain (come prepared with wet weather gear if so! Or else you can also choose not to come, of course), but we will only cancel if thunderstorms are predicted.
