About us
Welcome to Beginner Artists Sketching Our Way Weekend. This group is for anyone who has ever wanted to pick up a pencil and start sketching but felt a little intimidated by the blank page. We are a relaxed, low-pressure community where the focus is entirely on enjoying the process of drawing rather than creating a masterpiece. Whether you have never picked up a sketchbook before or are just getting back into it after a long break, you will find a supportive space here to learn at your own pace.
We meet on weekends to explore different spots around the city, grab a coffee, and spend a few hours sketching whatever catches our eye. There is no formal instruction and no judgmentβjust a group of people interested in sharing tips, practicing basic techniques, and spending time with like-minded folks. If you are looking for a casual way to build a creative habit and meet new people in your area, we would love to have you join us for our next session.
