Sheffield Piping Up Beginner Bagpipe Social

If you have ever been curious about the bagpipes or are just starting out on your learning journey, come join us for our next Sheffield Piping Up social. This is a relaxed, informal gathering designed for people at the very beginning of their playing experience. We aim to create a supportive space where we can share resources, troubleshoot common challenges, and get comfortable playing in front of others without any pressure.

Whether you are currently practicing on a practice chanter or have just picked up your first set of pipes, this session is for you. We will spend some time working through basic techniques and chatting about the realities of learning this unique instrument. Please bring your practice chanter if you have one, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions about the venue or what to expect.
