Who is MINDS ?
MINDS is a voluntary welfare organisation based in Singapore that provides services for the intellectually disabled. MINDS was founded in 1962 and remains one of the largest charities in Singapore. Over 600 staff and 2,400 beneficiaries are a part of MINDS.

What is Intellectual Disability ?
Intellectual disability is a developmental disorder characterised by limitations in
- intellectual functioning (reasoning, learning, problem-solving) &
- adaptive behaviour (communication, social and practical skills).
This disability originates before the age of 18, and the individual faces more difficulty than others in thinking, learning, and independence.

Bringing Joy & Cheers via Music :
We have an outreach program for MINDS Headquarters, 800 Margaret Drive, Singapore 149310
This outreach program involves a guitar jam & sing along session.
Date: 29th November 2025, Saturday.
Program Duration: 2:45 pm - 5:00 pm.
Testimony from a Previous Volunteer :
Someone who had previous experience working with children & youths of MINDS said this :
"What to us is an hour of jam and singalong, but for the kids it will be something they continue to talk about for months to come “
Your Contribution :
>To play your guitar and join the singing, or simply sing if you can’t play the guitar.
> Interact with & encourage the MINDS beneficiaries.
> Please bring your own guitar & capo.
