Welcome to Manly Surf & Outdoor Community.

We’re a relaxed local community centred around surfing, the ocean and casual outdoor activities around Manly and Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

The group originally started as a beginner surfing community, and surfing remains an important part of it. Events may include social surf sessions, coastal walks, coffee or lunch, fishing, snorkelling, catch-and-cook gatherings and other simple activities around Manly.

Some events will be beginner-friendly, while others will suit people who can participate independently, so please check each event description for details.

New members, long-term locals and people from all cultural backgrounds are welcome. Events are friendly and relaxed, with time to enjoy the activity, have a good conversation and get to know people naturally.
