Description:
Join us for a hike up the scenic Twin Peaks Trail at Eklutna Lake! 🌲⛰️ This trail offers stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. We’ll hike at a steady but moderate pace, taking breaks as needed.

• Distance: ~4.5 miles round trip to the FIRST bench (longer option available)
• Elevation Gain: ~1,400 ft
• Difficulty: Moderate w/steady climb, switchbacks, and rewarding views!

What to Bring:

• Good hiking shoes/boots
• Water & snacks
• Weather-appropriate clothing (layers recommended)
• Bug spray & sunscreen

Dogs: Allowed on leash 🐾
Notes:

• Parking at Eklutna Lake requires a $5 day-use fee or an annual State Parks pass.
• Cell service is spotty in the area—plan to meet on time at the parking lot by the bathrooms.
