The Sacred Weave is a community-centered ceremonial gathering designed to reconnect you with your body, your inner knowing, and one another.
We begin with ceremonial cacao, shared intentionally in honor of its ancestral roots and the practice of right relationship — with the Earth, with community, and with ourselves.
Through guided storytelling, you’ll be invited to reflect on the teachings that have supported communities for generations: presence, reciprocity, and trust in your own embodied wisdom.
From this grounded foundation, we gently transition into a somatic ritual weaving breath, intuitive movement, and subtle vocal resonance. This portion of the evening supports nervous system regulation, deeper sensation, and reconnection to the body as a source of guidance.
The gathering closes with a guided shared-experience practice designed to cultivate authentic listening, openness, and meaningful connection.
This is an invitation to slow down, return to sensation, and experience community in a grounded and intentional way.
Open to all who feel called to reconnect — within and together.
About the facilitator:
Akal is a Certified Kundalini Yoga Therapist, trained under Ram Das Bir Singh Khalsa and certified through Kundalini University and Yoga Alliance. Her teachings support nervous system regulation, energetic alignment, and conscious embodiment for both new and experienced practitioners.
She studies under Maestro Opalmitzin in Guadalajara, Mexico, carrying forward teachings connected to Tolteca-Mexica lineage. Rooted in Mexicayotl traditions and years of personal immersion, her work bridges ancestral wisdom with somatic practice.
Through her ancestors’ teachings, Akal continues to remember and relearn how to live in right relation with the elements, the body, and community. She believes each person carries an innate capacity to heal and is devoted to walking alongside others on their path of integration and embodied self-trust.
Through cacao gatherings, story, and somatic ritual, Akal creates grounded spaces for remembrance, trust, and authentic community connection.
