About us

BeHuman | A social club for beings who still feel

We exist so feeling, creating and dreaming don't have to happen alone. Come meet people who just get it.

We're a community in Lisbon for people who would rather practise being human than talk about it. Here, we slow down and use our senses; we play, make things and swap ideas with people who are curious about the same questions. Some of the people you meet here become friends. Others become partners on the projects you've been wanting to bring into the world.

You don't need to call yourself creative to join. We believe everyone was born creative; most of us just stopped practising. This is a place to start again, in good company.

What happens here:
Creative Coworking Day: Bring your project and work alongside other people who are building theirs. Good ideas tend to come up during the coffee breaks. There are only 20 spots per session.

Sensory Immersions: In-person experiences that get you out of your head and back into your body and senses.

Labs: We practise one theme at a time: courage, self-sabotage, creativity expression, with more on the way.

Online hangouts. Honest and deep conversations with 8 to 15 people, wherever you are.

Good to know:
Groups are small and English is our shared language. Places are limited, so RSVP early. Between events, the conversation carries on in our WhatsApp community, where members share references and invitations, plus the ideas they're working on. Ask us for the link.

Picture a café that's ours for the day; not rented for an hour, but claimed for the whole day, filled with people who showed up to actually make something, or to work differently than they usually do.

Some of us are writing. Some are painting, playing an instrument, sitting with a poem we're too shy to read aloud yet.
Others are just trying to get through a remote workday without losing the parts of themselves that get flattened by back-to-back calls. All of it fits here.

## You choose your mode:

Want quiet, heads-down focus? There's a way to signal that, and the room will know to leave you alone.

Feel like talking, trading ideas, meeting someone new? That's signaled too, and it's the default: this room assumes connection unless you say otherwise.

Each edition comes with its own surprise: something built to nudge you out of autopilot. You'll find out when you're there; that's kind of the point.

This is a coworking day that remembers we're all born creatives; come find out what that looks like.

## Happy Hour closes every session, from 6PM to 8PM.
