Portballintrae to Dunseverick coastal path

Details
Walk grade: Moderate - 7-8 miles.
We're heading to the Causeway Coast which has some of the most spectacular scenery in the whole of Ireland with Atlantic waves crashing onto the Antrim coast.
We'll walk on some of the less travelled parts of the Causeway Coast which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. High cliffs, beautiful beaches and many historic and natural landmarks are just some of the treats to see on this walk.
Our walk will take us from Portballintrae, to Giant's Causeway, Benbane Head, Port Moon and Dunseverick. The terrain is suitable for walkers of average fitness and there are frequent access points, so you can hop on a bus back to Portballintrae if you wish. We'll aim to catch the 3:49pm or 4:49pm bus from Dunseverick Castle back to Portballintrae.
Price is the usual £1 for members and £6 for guests and non-members.
Post up if you need a lift and give the driver a contribution towards fuel costs. We ask that all drivers and passengers respect this to keep things fair to all.
Bring warms and waterproofs and wear proper walking boots/shoes. Poles are useful if you use them, there are some stone steps along the way. Bring a packed lunch and snacks and we'll stop to have a picnic lunch.
My number is 07583-042962 (please only use if you're lost or late on the day).
See you there!
Maria
