Boyne Greenway and Drogheda

Details
Grade: Moderate (5-8miles), mostly flat
We're going to Drogheda and the Boyne Valley Greenway, taking in the highlights of the Boyne Camino
It's about 70miles (1:20hours) to get there, we'll meet at Oldbridge House at 11am
There are several options for walks here:
The main walk is 5 miles return from Oldbridge to Drogheda along the river Boyne Ramparts. We'll eat our picnic along the way and there's a decent coffee shop in Oldbridge Estate.
For those who would like a longer walk, this can be extended by walking around Townley Hall Woods and/or King Billy's Glen for another 1-3 miles (potentially 8 miles). All are close to the Oldbridge Estate so you can rejoin the others anytime you want to.
For those who would like a more relaxing afternoon, there's a Museum in Oldbridge House and pleasant grounds to wander around. Or you could spend some time exploring Drogheda.
This will be a full day trip. After the walk, we can visit the ruins at Mellifont and Monasterboice Round Tower. We could also go for a meal after the walk (suggestion the Monasterboice Inn), if interested let me know so we know the numbers to book it.

We should get back to Belfast at the latest around 7pm. Post up if you need a lift with a driver going from your area. Please don't offer/ask for a lift unless you are sure you can go.
All passengers - please be mindful of the sharp rise in petrol prices. Drivers please take passenger donations so that all is equal for everyone.
This walk costs £6 for non-members, £1 for members who have paid their £20 yearly fee.
See you there!
