Walk grade: Leisurely

We'll meet at the front of the visitor centre/café in Crawfordsburn Country Park.

This is a 4 mile leisurely walk around the scenic seascape & woodlands of north Down.

It's a fairly gentle walk taking in the Wildflower Meadow, areas of mature woodland, and a coastal stretch. The Wildflower Meadows are ablaze with colour in the summer months when the orchids and wildflowers are in bloom; hopefully we'll see some of the last of the summer flowers on our walk.

Wear sturdy footwear and bring a rain jacket in case there's a little light rain. No trainers.

We'll go for coffee/refreshments in the visitors centre after the walk

If you need a lift, just post up your general location and someone may be coming from your direction. Please give the drivers a contribution towards petrol and drivers please take it so it's fair to everyone. Please don't arrange to give or get lifts unless you're quite sure you can make the walk.

Click on the location link for map and directions, this will open up in Google Maps which will provide full directions for getting there.

Walk costs £6 for non-members and guests and £1 for members. Please read 'Pages' for more info on the group.

See you then. Take care. Maria
