Dinner at Nata Portuguese

We have had quite a few new members join recently so I thought it would be nice to have a chance to get together, enjoy some authentic Portuguese food and have a good chat.

We have booked Nata Portuguese Coffee Shop, Ormeau Road for 7pm on Saturday 13th June, where we can sample some of the best of home cooked Portuguese cooking.

The meal will be buffet style to allow you to sample a little of everything that takes your fancy, followed by a choice of desserts.

The main courses will include
- Bacalhau com natas (salted cod, onions, fine crispy potatoes and eggs, this regional version adds cream for an extra rich and comforting twist)
- Arroz de Pato (shredded duck, richly flavoured rice and chorizo, finished in the oven until beautifully golden on top)
- Vegetarian “Brás” with Leeks (a vegetarian take on the famous Bacalhau à Brás, replacing the cod with soft, sweet leeks while keeping the mixture of potatoes, onions and eggs)

The meal will cost £25 each, please bring cash for easy payment and a couple of pounds for a tip. This is a BYO Restaurant which helps keep it budget friendly.

Please RSVP if you'd like to join us. A £10 deposit will secure your place, ideally pay Maria at one of the walks or ask for PayPal details.

Everyone will be waitlisted initially and once Maria has received your deposit, you'll be added to the "going" list.

If you can't make it, please update your RSVP so someone else can use the place. There's a maximum of 18 places with the possibility of 5 additional seats on bar stools.
