Dates: Friday 17 July – Monday 20 July (3-night stay)
The hotel has offered the following group rate:
* €110 per person sharing, per night
* Includes dinner, breakfast, and a packed lunch
* Single supplement: €60 per night (subject to a minimum of 3 single rooms being booked)
The area offers a great variety of walks, including:
* Galtee Mountains
* Glen of Aherlow
* Slievenamuck
* Glengarra Woods
* Clare Glens
The plan would be a mix of moderate and more challenging walks over the weekend, including a longer mountain day and some easier scenic routes.
Car sharing will be encouraged where possible, with passengers contributing towards fuel and other travel costs.
At this stage, I'm simply looking for expressions of interest so I can assess numbers before making any commitments.
Please note: This weekend is intended as an active walking holiday for members who regularly participate in our walks and are comfortable with consecutive days of moderate to challenging walking.
The aim is to enjoy some of the best walking that County Tipperary has to offer in the company of fellow walkers who are accustomed to our group walks.
