***Changing the walk to Cregagh Glen because of possible rain showers***

Grade: Easy - Moderate. There are steps and some climbs, see the elevation profile in the Komoot link below.

There'll be a bit of shelter in Cregagh Glen if there are rain showers. We are heading to east Belfast to do Cregagh Glen linear walk. The woodland section will be stunning at this time of year and from the top we'll get great views of the Belfast Hills and the Mournes.

We'll follow the pathway which takes you uphill through Cregagh Glen past some lovely little waterfalls and on up into the Castlereagh Hills.

🅿️ Entrance on Upper Knockbreda Road A55, north of the Cregagh Road junction. Parking in adjacent streets. These streets are shown by clicking on 'location' balloon. See the picture below for details.

🎒🥾 Please bring sturdy footwear (boots or walking shoes and poles) and a rain jacket just in case. No trainers.

⚠️ Be careful if crossing what is a very busy road where the entrance to Cregagh Glen is located.

The walk costs £6 for non-members and £1 for paid up members.

As always if you are lost or late, a text or phone call will reach me on 07583 042962.
