Sailortown to Titanic Quarter
Details
Join us for a fascinating walk from historic Sailortown along Belfast's Maritime Mile, where the city's rich maritime heritage meets its vibrant modern waterfront.
As we make our way along the river, we'll pass many of Belfast's iconic maritime landmarks, with hopefully some opportunities to enjoy the atmosphere of the Fleadh Cheoil, taking in some of the sights, sounds and music along the route.
This is a gentle walk with plenty to see, from historic dockland buildings and public art to the bustling waterfront, all set against the backdrop of Belfast Lough.
This walk costs £6 for non-members and £1 for subscribed members.
We'll start at St Joseph's Church on Princess Dock Street where there's parking.
From Sailortown, we'll walk past the historic Clarendon Dock and pub haunts of old (Pat's and Rotterdam bars). We'll walk through the beautiful new City Quays gardens and then pass the Big Fish and go across the Lagan Weir Footbridge to Titanic Quarter, passing some of the city’s greatest attractions such as the SS Nomadic, Titanic Belfast, the Great Light and Thompson Dock.
After the walk, we can go to the American Bar for a coffee and a chat.
