Belleville Doggies, All Sizes Meetup Group

Welcome to the Belleville Doggies Socialization & Training Meetup!

This group is designed for dog owners who want safe, structured socialization and real-world training practice around other dogs, people, and distractions.

This is NOT an off-leash dog park or chaotic free-for-all environment.

The goal of these meetups is to help dogs learn how to:
• Stay calm around other dogs
• Improve focus and engagement
• Practice loose leash walking
• Work through distractions
• Build confidence in real-world environments
• Socialize appropriately and safely

I’ll be there each meetup actively training with my own dog, Nala, and helping maintain a calm, productive environment. I’m a professional dog trainer and Search & Rescue K9 handler, and these meetups are meant to give people affordable/free opportunities to practice around distractions.

Questions, tips, and conversations are absolutely welcome! I love talking dogs and helping people learn. But please understand this is not a full free training class or behavior consultation. The primary purpose is structured practice and socialization.

Dogs should:
• Be on leash at all times
• Have basic handler control
• Not display dangerous aggression toward people or dogs
• Come ready for training with treats/rewards

All sizes and breeds are welcome!

Whether you have a Chihuahua or a Great Dane, this is a place to train, learn, socialize, and build a stronger relationship with your dog in a positive environment.

Thursday Meetups:
Belleville Park
6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Bring:
• Lots of treats
• A regular leash (no retractable leashes if possible)
• Water for your dog
• Patience and a good attitude
