Structured Dog Socialization & Training Meetup
This meetup is designed for dog owners who want safe, structured socialization and real-world training practice around other dogs, people, and distractions.

This is NOT a dog park or chaotic off-leash play session.

The focus of this group is helping dogs learn how to:
• Stay calm around other dogs
• Improve focus and engagement
• Practice loose leash walking
• Work around distractions
• Build confidence in public environments
• Socialize appropriately and safely

I’m Mitchell, a professional dog trainer and Search & Rescue K9 handler, and I’ll be attending each meetup with my dog Nala while actively training and helping guide the environment.

Questions and conversations about training are always welcome! However, this is not intended to be a free full-length training class or behavioral consultation. Think of it more as a structured practice environment with guidance available.

Dogs should:
• Remain on leash at all times
• Have basic handler control
• Be able to work around other dogs safely
• Come ready for training with treats/rewards
Please bring:
• Lots of small treats
• A regular leash (no retractable leashes if possible)
• Water for your dog
• Patience and a positive attitude
All breeds and sizes are welcome!
The goal is to create a calm, positive community where dogs and owners can train, socialize, and improve together in a productive environment.
