Extend your scuba season! If you would like to extend your scuba diving season while staying warmer, a drysuit is the way to go! A drysuit provides you with protection from the cold water while keeping you more comfortable. The sea life in the Pacific Northwest becomes incredible as the cooler months arrive. Becoming a drysuit diver allows you to expand your boundaries, dive all year round, and experience the Pacific Northwest at its fullest.

Fun Dive at Sund Rock
Sund Rock, 26476 N US Highway 101,, Hoodsport, WA, USJoin us at one of the Puget Sound’s premier dive sites in the Hood Canal (Psst…it’s totally worth the drive!)
Meet time: 9:30 am
Splash time: 10:30 amDive Type
This is an unguided dive. You can be paired up with a buddy if you come alone. Divers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult diver who will be their buddy throughout the dive. We have planned a 2-cylinder dive – if you’re going to drive all the way out here, you should really dive twice!Dive Site
The Sund Rock Marine Conservation Area is a private dive cove in Hood Canal. It was established and is managed by the Sund family. The cost per diver is $25 and is payable when you arrive at the office and confirm you are diving as part of this group.
The dive site has north, central and south walls that provide tremendous habitat for GPOs and wolf eels. There is a wreck to the north that large Ling cods call home. To the east, you can find a field of sea whips and a deeper wall. In the shallows, you will also find an area called the “Fish Bowl” which is full of invertebrates.Learn more at https://sundrock.com/
Parking
Parking is limited and managed by the property owner. Please carpool if you can. Park where they direct you. If they direct you to park down the hill by the water, please park cars tightly together to maximize fit. If they ask you to park up top by the office, they will offer you and your gear a ride down the hill in a golf cart. There are multiple benches and covered areas for kitting up out of the rain, if needed.Facilities
The facilities here are great. There is a porta-potty next to the office and another down by the water entry. There is also a shower for you and a rinse station for your gear up next to the office.13 attendees
