Let's celebrate the birthday of Jacques Cousteau with a night dive at one of our favorite spots!

Meet time: 8:00 pm
Splash time: 9:00 pm

Dive Type

  • This is an unguided dive. You can be paired up with a buddy if you come alone.
  • Divers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult diver who will be their buddy throughout the dive.
  • We have planned a 1-cylinder dive.

Dive Site
This site offers opportunities for both shallow and deep dives. Current may be present. It is home to the geodome, a pipe structure that sits roughly 50-70 feet deep and provides habitat for lots of invertebrates, rockfish and the occasional juvenile wolf eel. Further north the site gets deep quickly. Heading east, you’ll find other manmade habitat – a stack of pipes, a cinderblock “house”, pier pilings and a smaller scale geodome that all provide places for rockfish, sculpin, ratfish, dogfish, octopuses and a myriad of invertebrates to thrive.

Parking
Paid parking is available on the street and in the lot across from the hotel. Do not park in the dedicated Ivar’s lot; use the one next to it. Do not park under the hotel. Please do pay for parking so that the city of Mukilteo is encouraged to keep this site open for the dive community.

Facilities
There is one porta-potty on site. We may not use the restrooms in the hotel.
