Sunday Hike of Whistle Lake and Sugarloaf from Heart Lake

DIRECTIONS:
Take Highway 20 to Campbell Lake Road on Fidalgo Island (Anacortes). Take Campbell Road to Heart Lake Road. Heart Lake Parking lot will be on the left past Ray Auld Dr.

THE HIKE:
We will start from the parking lot. We will proceed at a moderate pace, 2.5 to 3 miles per hour. We will make stops along the way at the lake and Sugarloaf. The hike will be around 6 miles, with 1200 ft of elevation gain. We will head to Whistle Lake via the 313, & 21 trails. We will loop the lake and then head to Sugarloaf via the 22, 21, 207, 230, and 226 trails. From Sugarloaf, it's back to the parking lot via the 215, 21, and 313 trails.

Alltrials shows a restroom at the trailhead, and there is one about halfway around the lake.
Dogs on leash are welcome.
