Music in Mt. Vernon w/ Mama Dirty Skirt

Join us for an evening of music, dancing, fun, and food at the Mt. Vernon River Walk Park next Thursday. From their website:

"Dust off your lawn chairs and your picnic gear and come to Historic Downtown Mount Vernon for some memorable summer evenings! Imagine an informal crowd relaxing along the riverfront, listening and dancing to live music set against the backdrop of the Skagit River and a beautiful sunset.
Mama Dirty Skirt brings back the spirit of a simpler time, dancing to great music alongside your friends without a care in the world. Playing a variety of hits from the Classic Rock, Rhythm & Blues, & Funk genres from the 60's through the 80's, powerful lead vocalists and stellar musicians keep the crowd entertained and dancing! One thing is for sure, you will have FUN at a Mama Dirty Skirt show!"

We will meet at the corner of Main St. & W. Gates St. at 5:30 and then find ourselves a nice spot to sit. The music starts at 6:00PM.

• Bring your own chair.
• If you want to have dinner, there are lots of good restaurants nearby or bring your own food.
• While dogs are welcome on leash, please think twice, this will be a very busy event.
