Sunday hike Ebey's Landing from Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve

DIRECTIONS:
From Highway 20, turn east on S. Sherman Rd.
At the Y, turn right onto Cemetery Rd. Follow the road around a right bend to the parking lot.
THE HIKE:
We start this hike at the Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve Office parking lot. We will do a short wooded section and then be in the open the rest of the day. The hike is about 5.5 miles with over 400 feet of elevation gain. Most of the elevation comes in two sections. The trail will take us along a bluff and then down to the beach. At the far end of the beach, we will stop for a snack break. After the break, we climb back up to the bluff and head back to the parking lot.
I have yet to do this hike and not see any wildlife.

There are restrooms at the trailhead and at the snack break. Dogs on leash are welcome.
