Easy Pass (not that easy)

Easy Pass is a great mountain hike, but it's a 2 to 3-hour drive via SR 20 from western Whatcom/Skagit Counties. Expect about 7.5 miles round trip and a 2,900-foot gain. Sometimes moderate, sometimes steep, but quite open and scenic much of the way, including at the pass itself (don't forget sun protection).
The meeting place is Bellingham's Sehome Village, but if Skagit folks want to carpool somewhere more convenient just post a comment and we'll do our best to accommodate. With this being a long drive and a weekday. I'm posting this to both the Mount Baker and Skagit/Whatcom Meetups with a limit of six for each (to keep within 12 max). Depending on signup, I may tweak this a little on Thursday.
Forecast looks warm and sunny. It could be a little busy up there with the nearby Maple Pass Loop currently closed for construction.
