Monday Oyster Dome the Hard Way Hike (from Chuckanut)
Details
Let's hike to Oyster Dome the hard way - from Chuckanut Drive! It's a long, arduous climb but worth it for the views from the top.
This is a strenuous hike of 6.2 miles with 1800 feet of elevation gain. The trail is steep on the way up and includes several stream crossings towards the top (with step stones but your feet might still get wet). Otherwise, the trail is in great shape. We'll be moving at a moderate pace and will stop at the overlook for photos, snacks/lunch, and to soak up the sun.

- We'll be starting from Chuckanut Drive (NOT Samish Overlook), click here for a map.
- Because parking is very limited along Chuckanut, we'll meet up at the North Chuckanut parking lot to carpool down to the trailhead.
No parking pass is required.
Dogs are allowed but should be leashed.
There's no bathroom on the trail.
