I will reschedule this hike to a better day - the date is only a placeholder until the weather becomes clearer.

When you think of old growth trees, thick moss, and dense rain forest, what comes to mind? The Olympic Peninsula? How about our very own Rockport State Park? Yep, just a short drive from town you get it all, and more. Join us Sunday to see how beautiful it is.

We'll hike the Evergreen Trail, then we'll cross Highway 20 and hike the two short loops of Sauk Springs & Skagit View Trails, a total of ~4.5 miles and 350 feet of elevation gain. This is a fairly mellow trail and we'll treat it as a social hike with lots of stops for photos, etc. End time is an estimate.

Notes:

  • Discover Pass is required for parking.
  • Dogs are welcome, but must remain on leash in Wa. State Parks.
  • There are excellent, heated bathrooms at the park. Ahhhh...
