Friday Tursi Trail Hike

Spring is springing, or has it sprung?
Whatever - a good time to do the Tursi trail on Fidalgo Island, not far from north end of Deception Pass St Park.
It's not hard as trails go but will be some ups, and what goes up...
If we go as far as Pass Lake trailhead it will be a 6.4 mile out-back, but there are options to do a bit more elevation or spend time admiring the view from a few bluffs and checkout historical stuff.
From the parking spot, we'll walk a quiet sunny dead-end road (Donnell Road) to the trailhead.
Pace will be moderate, and we'll plan on taking some photo, snack, and conversation breaks along the way.
More details might be added to this post before Friday, but this is the basic gist.

As this is an out-n-back trail, there are no midway exit trails... so please be flexible and allow ample time for the hike.
The end time is an estimate and may be shorter, depends on how often and long we stop along the way.
- Trail Map: WTA Tursi trail Shows starting from a different place (Pass Lk TH), but their map shows the trails.
- No parking pass required for this hike.
- Doubtful if an outhouse at the parking spot, BUT the revived Lake Erie store/coffee shop is just north on the Heart Lake Rd a short ways.
- Well behaved dogs are welcome, but as we'll be hiking through county & state parks... leashes are probably required.

We'll park and start at the north end of the trail, at the weird 4-way intersection of Sharpe Rd, Campbell Lk Rd, Heart Lk Rd & Donnell Rd.

I recommend looking at a map to get a feel for the location. Allow extra time to find it if this is your first time going there.
