What we’re about
View all events + RSVP here: www.coachcub.com
We're a group of bears, cubs, and all types of furry friends who are proud of ourselves, and our community, and who want to support and help each other live a long, healthful lifestyle that fits our personalities and needs.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to nutrition and lifestyle - especially for our community. Let's celebrate that in a judgment-free, supportive, fun, furry environment.

Do I need massage skills or experience?
No, not at all! This event is less about technique and more about experiencing the power of human touch and connection. You do not need to know anything about massage...but you may pick up a thing or two at the event!
What do I need to bring?
All you need to bring is shorts or something comfortable to change into when you arrive). This event is NOT fully nude - so you will need to have on shorts or underwear at the least.
So...What should I expect?
•Demonstrations throughout the class to show you basic strokes and best practices. Along with a rotation so you get to practice massaging and being massaged.
• The room is set up for massage exchanges: massage tables, oils, etc. We will alternate between giving and receiving. Everyone will get a chance to massage and be massaged many times.
• A relaxed, friendly, body-positive environment. This is a real judgment-fee space.

FAQs
I've never been to a cuddle event. What should I expect?
Picture a pile of puppies lying around, snuggling into each other. That's essentially what our event is like. After a few simple warmup activities, we will all lay in one big mass of bodies soaking in the warmth, support, and love from the group.
You will be guided through everything so you don't have to initiate cuddling or feeling left out at all.
Please note: Bear Hug is somewhat different than some cuddle events which have specific rules involving requesting permission prior to touch. Bear Hug is for men who are comfortable with body contact with other men and exploring male intimacy without the pressures of sex.
What should I bring to the event?
Simply bring something comfortable to change into: shorts and a t-shirt, sweatpants, or PJs. Also feel free to bring a blanket, pillow, or stuffed animal if you'd like!
What are the benefits of a cuddle event?
See testimonials from our group members below to hear firsthand!
Cuddle events like these provide you all the same benefits you get from a loving human touch.
Cuddling releases oxytocin, which is also known as the feel-good hormone. It can help to reduce blood pressure, which in turn not only reduces the risk of heart disease, but it can also help to reduce stress and anxiety. Regardless of health benefits, get ready to feel warm, fuzzy, and safe.
Is this event sexual?
No, this is not meant to be an overly sexual event. It is clothing-on, and groping is not allowed. There may be sexual energy that arises during the night which is natural. You will not be shamed for getting excited or aroused, we just ask that you do not act on it during the event.
Is it required to show your Covid Vaccine Passport?
No, the Covid vaccine is not required for this event - although it is strongly recommended. Additionally, if you are in the high risk population you should attend this event with caution as this will be close contact with others.
Here's how a fellow Pawed member explained his experience:
"The Bear Cuddle Party...it was a great to connect with other gay men in a non-sexual loving environment. The atmosphere and the tone was friendly and welcoming. It was nice to explore connecting the body and spirit in a safe and caring way. They are an amazing group of men whom I enjoyed sharing a wonderful, and exceptional time. It was great to meet and connect with everyone. And as it turns out, cuddling was exactly what I needed."
