Hi folks,
We're trying something new. We had to recently postpone the Photo Challenge Review on Textures and Patterns because Big E's Sports Bar and Grill is temporarily closed. We don't have a reopening date. So in the interim, I thought we could try submitting photos, adding captions, and providing feedback on the photos of others right here.
PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS NO FIXED DATE AND TIME FOR THIS ONLINE EVENT I JUST HAD TO PROVIDE A DATE AND TIME FOR THE APP.
Of course this is far from ideal and sorely lacks the in-person interaction which is much nicer. On the other hand, this format avoids schedule conflicts and meets everyone's schedule. And no need to RSVP: just post, caption, comment, and repeat...
The theme of textures and patterns is broad enough for a wide variety of submissions. Weather has been good enough to get out for some nice shots. Textures and patterns are everywhere--in nature and in man-made structures and items, plants and geology. We'd love to see your creativity and what you come up with. This challenge is for all photographers. Any camera or phone can be used.
PHOTO SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
We will not put a limit on the number of favorite photos you post. Toward the bottom of this announcement there is a section for adding photos. A heads up: this web interface can be a bit tricky--so please be patient when adding photos.
