Roundabout Social Club: Tumalo Falls Group Hike

Hi everyone, I’m Corey, and I’m excited to be joining BendCNCT: Central Oregon’s Intentional Community as a new host.
I recently moved to Bend and have been looking for more ways to build real community through simple, welcoming outdoor events. I’m a big believer that getting outside together is one of the easiest ways to meet good people and feel more connected to where we live.
For my first hike as a host, we’ll be heading to Tumalo Falls, one of Bend’s most iconic waterfall spots. This will be a relaxed, social hike with time to enjoy the scenery, take photos, and meet new people.

## What to Expect

This will be a moderate, casual group hike. We’ll start near the Tumalo Falls Day Use Area and hike together at a comfortable pace.
Depending on the group, we can keep it shorter by visiting the main falls and nearby viewpoints, or continue farther up the trail toward additional waterfalls.
No pressure to be fast. This is meant to be social, welcoming, and enjoyable.

## Meeting Spot

We’ll meet at the Tumalo Falls Day Use Area / Tumalo Falls Trailhead near the main parking area.
Please arrive a little early so we can gather, introduce ourselves, and start hiking close to 11:00 AM.

• Water
• Comfortable hiking shoes
• Snacks
• Sun protection
• A light layer
• Camera or phone for photos
• Northwest Forest Pass, America the Beautiful Pass, or day-use payment method

## Parking Notes

Parking can be limited, especially on weekends, so carpooling is strongly encouraged. Please give yourself extra time to arrive and follow all posted parking signs.

## Dogs

Dogs are welcome if allowed by posted trail signage, leashed, friendly, and comfortable around groups. Please plan to clean up after them and keep them under control.
