Conflict is inevitable. Disconnection doesn’t have to be.

How we communicate when we’re hurt, misunderstood, or frustrated can shape every relationship in our lives.

This edition of Beneath the Surface is an opportunity to explore conflict differently: with more curiosity, honesty, and compassion.

We’ll sit together in a relaxed conversation circle and use thoughtful prompts to explore questions like:

  • What happens inside us when conflict begins?
  • Why do some disagreements feel more threatening than others?
  • What helps us feel heard and understood?
  • How can we take accountability without abandoning our own needs?
  • What does meaningful repair actually look like?

This isn’t a debate, therapy session, or space for fixing anyone. It’s a guided community conversation where we can learn from one another’s experiences and perspectives.

Sharing is always optional. You’re welcome to speak, pass on any question, or simply listen.

You never have to reveal anything deeply personal to participate.
Come with curiosity, respect, and a willingness to look beneath the surface.
