Beneath the Surface

Join us for Beneath the Surface on Sunday, November 15th at 5 PM at Teal Tea and Art Lounge in downtown Bend.
This is one of our most popular Roundabout Social Club events; we get together in a relaxed setting for the kind of conversations most of us don’t have often enough. You can come to share what’s on your mind, or you can come to listen. Nothing is required of you but your presence. A lot of people show up with something heavy on their chest, and it helps to say it out loud in a room full of people who are listening.
We chose Teal on purpose. It’s a tea and art lounge on NW Bond Street that wants to be the living room of Bend, and it feels like it, with cozy seating and sketchbooks and art supplies on the tables. Pick a pot of tea from their menu of more than 60 options, add a pastry if you’d like, and settle in. Holding a warm cup or doodling while you listen can make it easier to open up, and nobody will mind if you sit quietly for a while.
