Let’s beat the heat hiking at Shevlin before temperatures soar into the mid 80s. The wildflowers are blooming!!!! 🌼🤩🥾

We are headed back to Shevlin Park to hike sections of the Shevlin Park Loop (including the upper ridge!) Trail + Tumalo Creek Trail. Know your limits! Some folks join hikes at Shevlin without realizing that this is a more challenging hike than the all flat Tumalo Creek Trail.

ABOUT THE HIKE:
Moderate Pace/Moderate Difficulty
4.5 Miles
324 Feet Elevation Gain
2-2.5 Hour Estimated Time
No Dogs please.
Hiking poles recommended
Trail shoes, or hiking boots mandatory.
No tennis shoes
Bring lots of water!!! I recommend at least a liter.
Mosquito/tick spray recommended.
Long pants and long sleeves recommended.

Parking
How to find us: Drive past the green gate at the main entrance to the park. There is an Aspen Meadow Sign on the left. Meet at the restrooms. Do Not park at Aspen Hall unless it's your only option!!!
